Holy Communion

“And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, gave it to them,
saying, ‘This is my body given for you, do this in remembrance of me.’”

You do not have to be a member of Lakeside UMC in order to receive Holy Communion. In the United Methodist Church, we believe in an open table where all are welcome. We believe that the sacrament of Holy Communion is an act of God’s grace extended to everyone.

Communion is typically served the first Sunday of every month at our Sunday morning service.
