What to Expect

When you come to Lakeside UMC you will be greeted by friendly people who will welcome you in to our facility. If you have any questions about our facility just ask one of these people.
If you are arriving for worship you will also be greeted by an usher who can provide a worship bulletin, a guest information packet and other resources as needed. You are welcome to sit where you feel most comfortable.
You will never be asked to stand and introduce yourself in worship. However, because we are a warm and friendly group of people, some of our members may approach you to say hello. In the pew racks are various pieces of information. If you are comfortable doing so, we ask you to please complete a visitor card and place it in the offering plate when passed. You may also give this to an usher on your way out.
These cards are given to the pastor. Within a day or so you should expect a call from the pastor just to offer thanks for attending worship and to answer any questions you may have.
